Why do I teach?

Many people ask me why I love to teach photography. Photography is often considered superficial, as each picture can be worth either a thousand words or a thousand lies. There are countless talented individuals who can tell you what camera settings to use and how to take photos that have been taken countless times before. However, photos are more than just images; they tell stories. I am not interested in coaching people just to replicate others’ work. Instead, I want to help people develop their unique, organic perspectives so they can tell their own stories. In my workshops, I do not focus on scaled replication; rather, I prioritize originality, especially in capturing sweeping landscapes.

Groupclub, and individual instruction are available. Contact me for more information.
